Augusta, and this is certain, because it was once crossed by the Via Annia, which connected Rome to Aquileia, at the time the second city of the Roman Empire. We are in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, just a few kilometers from the sea, which every day bestows upon the vines its salty breath, captured in their vegetation.
Since 1959, the Bassani family has transformed this place into a unique project: an independent, family-run winery, capable of innovating without ever losing its identity. Renzo had the intuition. Massimo gave concrete form to the project. Jacopo, today, looks beyond boundaries with a vision projected toward the future.
