Predominantly clay with silt and sand
Harvest in early October. Maceration on the skins for approximately 10 days, fermentation at controlled temperature. Bottle aging of at least 3 months before release.
Intense ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits accompanied by spicy notes of white and green pepper. On the palate it is smooth, elegant, with good structure and persistence.
Perfect with cured meats that are not overly aged, mushroom tagliatelle, roasted or grilled chicken, young cheeses.
