At Isola Augusta, sustainability is much more than a word: it is a way of life. As early as 1990, when few were yet talking about clean energy, we chose to listen to nature. A geothermal well 450 meters deep brings to the surface thermal water at 32.5 °C, which flows silently beneath every building through the underfloor heating system. A gentle warmth that heats without polluting, born from the heart of the earth.

In the early 2000s, our dream of achieving energy autonomy became a reality: three photovoltaic systems produce approximately 100 kWh of clean energy, enough to meet all the company's needs.

In 2013, we were proud to be the first in the Region to install a private charging station for electric vehicles, powered with zero emissions by the energy of the sun. Recognition has followed, but what gratifies us most is the knowledge that we are on the right path. In 2017, Legambiente cited us in the “Renewable Communities” dossier as an example of sustainable agriculture. And in 2021, at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Isola Augusta was selected from over 170 companies to participate in the Round Table “Sustainable agriculture and organic wine districts towards climate neutrality.” A great honor, but also a great responsibility.

Because for us, sustainability is not a destination, but a journey that is traveled every day. Naturally.
